Full Moon in Cancer Opening Our Hearts

A Cancer Full Moon expands our capacity to feel. It tilts our worldview away from the dominance of rationality and logic toward one based upon impressions, intuition, and inner messages. It urges us to access the love, trust, and acceptance within us and bring that energy into our relationships. 

A Cancer Full Moon presents us with an opportunity to peel back our outer shells and reach out to others with an open heart. The days surrounding this Supermoon are rich with the spirit of connection. Emotional depth is the goal here. There is no room for pretense or facades. 

When we shed our shells, honesty is present, curiosity emerges, and vulnerability happens. From this space, we reach out with the courage to believe that our emotional truth will be met by the other. This is how we can approach conflict, distance, and friction with others differently. We can let go of accusations and judgments and move deeper into emotional realms where what is true for us resides. Maybe a bond with another grows stronger. Maybe it will be released. When the outcome emerges from openhearted curiosity about another’s feelings and honesty about our own, it is what is meant to be. We’ll only know if we harness Cancer’s energy for reaching out with unveiled feelings and true authenticity.
