My story
Over twenty years ago, one of my many spiritual explorations led me to a nine-month women’s circle that introduced me to various metaphysical modalities. When the time came for astrology, the topic that I was least interested in, I was shocked to connect to it so intuitively. With just the bare bones of information, I instantaneously understood the meanings of all those symbols and lines - not all the details, I would learn those - but the overall message contained within the charts.
I had stumbled onto something that was profoundly transformative. Astrology was a powerful channel for the intuition I was born with. My transformation was not instantaneous. I was still too easily influenced by what others thought, too quick to internalize their plans for my life and their judgments, and needed to let go of a host of limiting beliefs that stood in the way of announcing who I am and what I want. Thus, I practiced astrology quietly, and on the side. What I was called to consistently was the astonishing tool for spiritual and psychological healing that astrology offers.
Around the same time that I was studying astrology, I trained in energy reading and channeled healing. Channeled healing energy enhanced my intuition, complemented my work with astrology, and strengthened my ability to offer guidance and support to my clients.
As for other parts of my life…I live outside of Boston, Massachusetts, with my husband of nearly 40 years - not far from his giant close-knit family. I have three adult children and a rescue border collie mix. The ocean feeds my soul like nothing else. Thankfully, I have family on Cape Cod and can get there often enough for those healing sounds and sights and salty air. A close second to the ocean is the Saco River in the White Mountains where we often camp. It’s truly getting away - there’s no cell service at our favorite tent site right on the river. I like to take walks in the woods and always have a stack of books waiting for me.

This is when I created Collaborative Astrology. I pioneered a method that creates a safe space for my clients to apply the meaning of my interpretations to their lives in real time. This approach allows them to better internalize the messages in their birth charts and other charts. I go beyond how the energies played out in the past to viewing them as frameworks for pursuing who my clients want to become in the future. Adding energy reading and channeled sessions to astrology hastened my clients’ becoming.
