Full Moon in Aries -Courageous Connections
The Sun just moved into Libra a few days ago and will remain there until October 22, 2026. Our evolutionary purpose during Libra season is to grow through connection with others. This sign influences our need for balance, diplomacy, and harmony. We need to be careful that we don’t fall into the trap of people-pleasing, and sacrificing our own needs to keep the peace.
With the Sun in Libra, growth means developing the ability to remain present in our relationships without losing ourselves.
Today, the Full Moon is in Aries. Ordinarily, we would feel independent, impatient, and energized to take risks with a clear goal for ourselves in mind. The Aries Full Moon’s fiery energy is merged with the planet of mysticism, idealism, and illusion - Neptune. Neptune is making it a little more difficult to find emotional clarity and to bring our goals into focus. We may find ourselves idealizing others and struggling with maintaining boundaries. Yet at the same time, the Full Moon and Neptune in Aries may be strengthening our intuition, imagination, and interpersonal/interdimensional connection on a spiritual level.
What is being illuminated is the co-existence within us of the need for emotional independence, intuitive awareness, and mystical, soulful connection.
Saturn in retrograde is turning its energy inward and also merged with this Full Moon in Aries. Often, Saturn’s placement is where we feel we are being held back. It represents structure, authority, limits, and discipline. But Saturn teaches us that these qualities are meant to be developed within us, not to hold us back.
Working with our emotions, intuition, interpersonal and mystical connections together with independence and courageous action will lead us to transform outer restrictions into inner resources.
What is being highlighted is the need to develop inner authority, healthy boundaries, beneficial structure, and personal discipline to support connection.
This Full Moon in Aries is unusual in its invitation to be reflective. It asks us to consider using Aries quality in a different way.
In fact, Aries’ courage may involve undertaking deep emotional examination; pathfinding might focus on spiritual exploration; and our goals may target claiming our personal authority.
Reflection Questions:
Are you feeling emotions that hold you back from what you want?
In what ways can you strengthen your emotional independence and presence while in connection with others?
What do you imagine soulful connections are like?
Where can you claim or reclaim your personal authority?
