Harvest Moon in Aries

October 6, 2025

This lunar cycle, we have a Supermoon, appearing brighter and more intense than usual. The greater the visibility of the Full Moon, the more emotional charge to what it brings.

The Full Moon is always a tension point between opposites - in this case Aries Moon and Libra Sun. The tension here is between our needs, identity, and desires and balancing that with others’ needs, fairness, diplomacy, and relationship harmony. There is a push-pull between asserting autonomy and compromising or relating. Aries moon can spark quick tempers or rash decisions especially in relational matters. It’s better to pause before pushing too hard. In trying to be more independent or assert our needs, there’s risk of being insensitive. Try to use the energy of the Libra Sun to interact diplomatically.  The Libra Sun may make us hesitant to state our needs or opinions because we want to avoid conflict. Aries brings the assertiveness and clarity required to be honest about our needs. It also provides courage to step into leadership.. Libra will provide us with the sensitivity to accomplish this with grace.

This Full Moon’s energy is in conjunction with that of Neptune. This harmonious merger of influences heightens sensitivity, intuition, fantasies, and illusions. We might get pulled into feelings, dreams, emotional idealism — which is useful for spiritual connection, empathy, and creativity, but also poses a risk that we will be misled or confused. There’s always a danger of blurred boundaries with Neptune. We must guard against idealizing others, misreading situations, and taking on others’ emotions as our own.

Chiron, The Wounded Healer is also in conjunction with the Full Moon. This aspect will likely trigger old wounds especially around identity, self-worth, initiating, and the courage to exist as “I AM.” The healing opportunity here is feeling our vulnerable spots, owning them, and possibly speaking or acting from a place of wounded but healing strength.

The message of this Hunter’s Moon is that courage is not the absence of wounds, but the willingness to act authentically while honoring others. True leadership is both fiery and fair, personal and relational.

Reflection:

  • How do we relate justly and collaboratively without losing ourselves?

  • How do we honor our own flames while staying in right relationship with others?

  • How do we use heightened intuition to understand, own, and heal wounds around our identity and right to be who we are?
